The most powerful of the world’s five oceans lies off Australia’s south coast and 60 degrees south elsewhere, extending all the way to Antarctica. It’s home to the ‘Roaring Forties’, a weather system both feared and harnessed by traders from the Age of Sail as well as modern round-the-world racers.
We recognise and acknowledge the traditional custodians of this sea country.
