Its vast, majestic beauty is only made possible by time - colours fused and forms sculpted by tectonics, fire, rain, wind and sun - over billions of years.
Captured from above, these images now grace a range of stylish accessories made from natural and recycled fabrics.
Australia Scape brings the timeless authenticity of the world’s oldest continent – to gift, use, wear and wonder at.
Who we are
Australia Scape is an Australian-owned company based in Sydney. We design silk scarves, wraps, bags and homewares printed with aerial images of real Australian landscapes.
How it began
Taken by the beauty of the outback from the air, Australian Grazier David Taylor began to capture it on camera. His images were first exhibited, published and awarded, before we realised their further potential on more stylish and practical forms.
What makes us different
Every design is a real place - named for the landscape it shows. From Lake Eyre – Kati Thanda to Karratha, you can find each one on a map using the coordinates in our Coast, Outback and Waterways galleries. It’s here we also acknowledge the traditional custodians of these lands and waters.
Our products
Everything is designed in Australia and made with natural or recycled fibres. Our scarves are 100% silk with hand-rolled edges, resort wraps - a silk-bamboo blend, tea towels - pure linen, bags - cotton canvas and our beach towels are made from recycled PET bottles. Scarves and resort wraps come gift-boxed, ready to give; and our packaging contains no plastic, out of respect for the places our images depict.

You will also find us in some of the country’s most respected institutions. Australia Scape is stocked by the National Library of Australia, the Australian National Maritime Museum, the National Trust of Australia, Perth Airport, Ayers Rock Resort and Wilpena Pound Resort. These places choose what they sell with care and we are proud to be on their shelves.
