Quite literally the pearl of the Kimberley region, Broome is where European settlers first discovered beds of the Mother of Pearl shell in the mid 1800s. While still the source of some of the world’s finest pearls, Broome is now also world famous for its stunning white sands, turquoise water and spectacular Indian Ocean sunsets off Cable Beach.

We recognise and acknowledge the Karajarri, Yawuru people as the traditional custodians of this land.
