Despite its name, Australia’s largest bay offers over 1,000 kilometres of the most pristine and inviting waters in the world. The World Heritage Area teems with dolphins, turtles, crustaceans and a Perth-sized mass of twelve species of sea grass, which also helps to sustain over 10,000 dugongs.
We recognise and acknowledge the Malgana, Nhanda and Yingkarta people as the traditional custodians of this land.
