The stunning Alligator Rivers (misnamed in 1818 for its crocodiles) includes parts of Arnhem Land and the Kakadu National Park. The East, West and South Alligator Rivers all flow north, creating one of the richest biological regions in Australia, before reaching Van Diemen’s Gulf and the Timor Sea.
We recognise and acknowledge the Kunwinjku people as the traditional custodians of this land.
