The red ochre dunes of the Simpson Desert – Munga-Thirri – captured from above. The Simpson Desert covers 176,500 square kms across QLD, the NT and SA. While mostly arid sandy plain and dunes, it sits above the Great Artesian Basin, one of the world's largest inland drainage areas. So in places, water rises to the surface, bringing life to native vegetation and sustaining fish, snails and other invertebrates.

Thank you ever so much for my beautiful silk scarf. I selected the red scarf as I always wear a lot of black as the colour just lifts and sets any outfit.
