The shimmering gold and pink salt pans of Lake Eyre captured from above. Kati Thanda is 15 metres below sea level and Australia’s lowest natural point. On the rare occasions it fills, it becomes our largest lake at 9,500 square kms. Its colours change constantly. In flood — a brilliant sky blue with countless waterbirds, fish and wildflowers. And in drought — salt and algae create stunning hues of pink, often visible from space.

Thank you ever so much for my beautiful silk scarf. I selected the red scarf as I always wear a lot of black as the colour just lifts and sets any outfit. Personally I love the length of the scarf as a great hider for that second chin that we get as we age. So many have commented on the colours, softness and the amazing way that the scarf falls.
